The full tour lasts between 9 and 11 hours, depending on weather and road conditions. Pickup is between 7:00 and 8:00 AM from your Banff or Canmore accommodation, and drop-off is typically around 5:00–7:00 PM.
This tour covers all the must-see spots in Banff National Park:Lake Louise, Moraine Lake (summer only), Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Crowfoot Glacier, Johnston Canyon, Morant’s Curve, Castle Mountain Lookout, and Mount Norquay Viewpoint.
During winter, Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park replace Moraine Lake.
Lunch is not included, but your guide will schedule a stop in Lake Louise Village where you can choose from a variety of restaurants and cafés. A complimentary water bottle is provided for every guest.
We offer doorstep pickups in Banff and Canmore. If your location is outside the pickup area, we’ll confirm a nearby meeting point before your travel date — easy and stress-free.
To keep the experience personal and comfortable, we limit each vehicle to a maximum of 12 guests. This allows for more flexible photo stops, better interaction with your guide, and an overall smoother journey.
Absolutely. The Banff Standard Shared Tour is designed for all ages 2 and above. The walking sections are light to moderate, and your guide will tailor stops to suit everyone’s comfort level.
Moraine Lake is open June 1 – October 10, depending on road and weather conditions. If you’re visiting outside this period, don’t worry — you’ll visit Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge instead, which are equally spectacular in winter.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers — mountain weather can change quickly. Bring a jacket, camera, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle.
